Answer :

  • 20cm
  • 15cm

Given :

  • Two sides of a parallelogram are in the ratio is 4 : 3
  • Perimeter is 70cm

To find :

  • Lengths of its sides

Solution:

  • Let the length of two sides of a parallelogram be 4x and 3x

As we know that ,

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

Perimeter = 70

➼ Perimeter = 2(4x + 3x)

➼ 2(4x + 3x) = 70

(4x + 3x) = 70/2

➼ 7x = 35

➼ x = 35/7

➼ x = 5cm

Now,

Length of its sides

  • 4x = 4(5) = 20cm
  • 3x = 3(5) = 15cm
