Step-by-step explanation:

5:3 is the same as 5x:3x where 5x can be Length and 3x can be Width

Perimeter = 2(L+W)

64 = 2(5x+3x)

8x = 32

x = 4

5x = 5*4 = 20 cm = Length

3x = 3*4 = 12 cm = Width

Given : -

Two sides of a Parallelogram are in the ratio 5:3 and it's perimeter is 64cm.

To Find : -

Length of its side = ?

Formula : -

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(l + b)

Step-by-step Explanation : -

Two sides of Parallelogram are = 5:3

Perimeter of Parallelogram = 64cm

Now : -

64 = 2(5x + 3x)

64 = 2(8x)

64/2 = 8x

32 = 8x

x = 32/8

x = 4

Therefore , the value of x is 4 ..

So : -

First Side = 5(4) = 20

Second Side = 3(4) = 12
