Let the longer side be x.

 \frac{2}{5}  =  \frac{10}{x}  \\  =  > 2x = 10 \times 5 \\  =  > 2x = 50 \\  =  > x = 50 \div 2 \\  =  > x = 25 \: cm

Hence, the longer side is 25 cm.
