GIVEN :-

• Two sides of triangle are 11cm , 14cm
• Perimeter of triangle is 38cm

TO FIND :-

• Length of third side

SOLUTION:-

》 Perimeter of triangle is nothing but sum of three sides of a triangle

Let the third side of triangle be x

So,

11cm + 14cm + x = 38cm

25cm + x = 38cm

x = 38cm - 25cm

x = 13cm

So, the length of third side of a triangle is 13cm

VERIFICATION:-

We know three sides of triangle Hence its sum should be 38cm i.e Perimeter of triangle

11cm + 14cm + 13cm = 38cm

38cm= 38cm

✰ In the question two sides of traingle are 11 cm and 14 cm and we have to find the Third side of the triangle and perimeter of triangle is 38 cm. we will let the Third side be x cm So, Firstly by using the perimeter of Traingle a + b + c that is sum of all sides. Then we will find the value of x and that will be the required third side of the Traingle

• a = 11cm

• b = 14cm

• c = x cm

Let, Third side be x cm.

Perimeter = a + b + c

⟹ 11 + 14 + x = 38

⟹ 25 + x = 38

⟹ x = 38 - 25
