Answer :-

10cm is the third side of the triangle.

Solution :-

Given :- Two sides of a triangle are 12cm and 14cm and perimeter of the triangle is 36cm.

Formula :- a + b + c = perimeter

Given :

  • Two sides of a Δ = 12 cm and 14 cm
  • It's perimeter = 36

To Find :

  • Third side

Solution :-

∵ Perimeter of Δ = sum of all three sides.

So,

12 + 14 + third side = 36

⇒ 26 + third side = 36

⇒ third side = 36 - 26

∵ third side = 10 cm.

Hence,

Third side of the triangle is 10 cm.
