here 10cm is altitude and 16 cm is base.
area of triangle = 1/2 × altitude × base
= 1/2 × 10cm × 16 cm
= 80 cm²
now, we have to find length of altitude on 14cm.
if x is altitude onside of length14cm then 14cm is base
area of triangle = 1/2 × altitude × base
⇒ 80 cm² = 1/2 × x × 14 cm
⇒x = 160/14 = 11.4 cm
