Given

triangle are 40 cm and 12 cm

perimeter of the triangle is 36 cm

Let the X be the third side

Solution

40 + 12 + X = 36

40 + 12 - 36 = X

52 - 36 = X

16 = X

To Find :-

Solution :-

Let the third side be x

The length of the other two sides of the triangle is 40cm and 12cm.

Now, the perimeter of the triangle is 36cm.

 \rm \red{: \implies 52 + x = 36}

 \rm \color{blue}{: \implies x = 52 - 36 =  \bold16}
