\underline{\underline{\textsf{\maltese\:\: Given :}}}

• 1st side = 5cm

• 2nd side = 4cm

• Semi Perimeter = 6cm

• 3rd side = ?

\\

\underline{\underline{\textsf{\maltese\:\: Solution :}}}

\\

\bf{Semi \; Perimeter = \dfrac{Sum \; of \; all \; sides \; of \; triangle}{2}}

\\

\sf \implies 6cm = \dfrac{5cm \; + \; 4cm \; +\; 3rd \; side}{2}

 \sf \implies 6cm = \dfrac{9cm  \; +\; 3rd \; side}{2}

 \sf \implies 6cm \; * \; 2= 9cm  \; +\; 3rd \; side

 \sf \implies 12cm = 9cm  \; +\; 3rd \; side

 \sf \implies 12cm \; - \; 9cm =3rd \;side

 \sf \implies 3cm = 3rd \;side

 \bf  \therefore \; \orange{3rd \;side = 3cm}
