Given:-

Sides of triangle= 8cm and 10cm

Using pythagoras theorem:-

H²=P²+B²

=>AC²=BC²+AB²

=>8²=10²+AB²

=>64=100+AB²

=>AB²=100-64

=>AB²=36

=>AB=√36

=>AB=6

So the third side of given triangle is of 6 cm.
