let ABC is an isosceles triangle, of which

=> AB = (3x + 1)

=> BC = (2x - 1 )

=> AC = (4x - 2 )

now, AB = AC

.•. 3x + 1 = 4x - 2

1 + 2 = 4x - 3x

x = 3

now,

put the value of 'x' in AB, BC and AC

AB = 3x+1 = 3(3)+1 = 9+1 = 10

BC = 2x - 1 = 2(3) -1 = 6 - 1 = 5

AC = 4x - 2 = 4(3) - 2 = 12 - 2 = 10

now,

perimeter of = product of all the

triangle sides

= AB × BC × AC

= 10 × 5 × 10

= 500
