Answer:

two sides of a parallelogram are in the ratio 3:4.

perimeter of the parallelogram=42cm.

as in a parallelogram opposite sides are equal let the 4 sides be- 3x,3x,4x,4x.

perimeter of a parallelogram=1/2*(a+b)

a=3x

b=4x

42cm=1/2*(3x+4x)

42cm=1/2*(7x)

42cm*2=7x

x=42*2/7

x=6*2=12cm

a=3x=3*12=36cm

b=4x=4*12=48cm

so the sides of the parallelogram are 36cm,48cm,36cm and 48cm.
