Given,

Sides of Parallelogram are given in ratio 5:2

Perimeter = 70 cm

To find :

Length of sides of Parallelogram

How to find :

At first we will let the ratio in x. Then, will equate both. From this we will find x. Then we will multiply with the given ratio and will get the length of two sides.

||gm means Parallelogram ( it is the short form )

 \sf \:  \red{|...formula...|} \\ { \boxed {\rm \green {Perimeter \:  of \:  ||gm = 2 ( a + b ) }}}

══════════════════════════

Solution :

Let the sides be 5x and 2x

Perimeter = 70 cm

A/Q

{\rm   \blue{Perimeter \:  of \:  ||gm = 2 ( a + b ) }} \\  \implies \sf70 \:  \:  \:  = 2(5x + 2x) \\\implies  \sf \: 70 = 10x + 4x \\\implies \sf 70 = 14x \\ \sf \implies 14x = 70 \\ \implies  \sf x =  \frac{ \cancel{70} \: _ 5 }{ \cancel{14}}  \\  \sf \:  \therefore \: x = 5  \:

So,

5x = 5 × 5 = 25 cm

2x = 2×2 = 4 cm

Henceforth,

The length of the two sides are 25 cm and 4 cm.
