»Question:-
- two sides of parallelogram are in the ratio 5:3 and it's perimeter is 48 cm.find t e length of each of its sides
»Answer:-
Given:-
- Adjacent sides are 5:3
- Perimeter = 48 cm
To Find out:-
- Lenghth of each side of the parallelogram
Solution :-
- We know that oppisite sides of a parallelogram are equal.
- So, the sides 3 and 4rth = 5 and 3rd sides
Let us consider sides of parallelogram be 'x'
Perimeter of parallelogram = add all sides
- 5x+3x+5x+3x = 48
- 16x = 48
- x =48/16
- x = 3
The answer of x = 3 thus,
- Length of 1 and 3rd side = 5*3 = 15
- Length of 2 and 4th side = 3*3 = 9
