Answer:

»Question:-

  • two sides of parallelogram are in the ratio 5:3 and it's perimeter is 48 cm.find t e length of each of its sides

»Answer:-

Given:-

  • Adjacent sides are 5:3
  • Perimeter = 48 cm

To Find out:-

  • Lenghth of each side of the parallelogram

Solution :-

  • We know that oppisite sides of a parallelogram are equal.
  • So, the sides 3 and 4rth = 5 and 3rd sides

Let us consider sides of parallelogram be 'x'

Perimeter of parallelogram = add all sides

  • 5x+3x+5x+3x = 48
  • 16x = 48
  • x =48/16
  • x = 3

The answer of x = 3 thus,

  • Length of 1 and 3rd side = 5*3 = 15
  • Length of 2 and 4th side = 3*3 = 9
