Suppose one side is 5x and another side is 3x so opposite sides must be 5x and 3x because it's a parallelogram and thus opposite sides are same
Perimeter = sum of all side
64 = 5x + 3x + 5x + 3x
64 = 16x
x = 4
So sides are 20,12,20,12

Given that,

Two sides of parallelogram are in the ratio of 5:3

The perimeter of parallelogram is 64 cm

To find,

The length of its sides.

Solution,

Perimeter is equal to the sum of all sides. Let sides are x. So,

5x+3x+5x+3x=64

16x = 64

x = 4 cm

Length of 1st side = 5x = 5(4) = 20 cm

Length of 2nd  side = 3x = 3(4) = 12 cm

So, the length of sides of parallelogram are 20 cm and 12 cm.
