Let ABC be the isosceles right triangle ,right angled at B .
So,AC^2=800cm^2
Let the two other sides be x.
By Pythagoras theorem ,
800=x^2+x^2
=>800=2x^2
=>x^2=400
=>x=20
So,AC^2=800cm^2
Let the two other sides be x.
By Pythagoras theorem ,
800=x^2+x^2
=>800=2x^2
=>x^2=400
=>x=20

Hey there
Let the measure of one side of right angled Triangle is x cm
given that -
In ⊿ABC ,
Perpendicular , ( a ) = Base ( b )
or , x = x
And Hypotenuse , ( c ) = 800 cm²
Now By Pythagoras theorem we know
c² = a² + b²
or ⟹ 800cm² = x² + x²
⟹ 2x² = 800
⟹ x =√ 400
⟹ x = 20 cm
Now we get x ,= 20 cm or
perpendicular and base = 20 cm
Hope this would help you !!
