Infinitely many triangles can have two sides 5 and 7. The third side must be bigger than 2 and smaller than 12.

Note: 2=7–5 and 12=7+5. Use triangle inequality.

Note 2: original question that I answered is in bold at the top of my answer. The question it got merged into has 7.5 cm instead of 7 cm. My answer is correct for the question I answered, but not for the one it got merged with.
