Two sides of triangular plot are in the ratio 3:5:7 and it's perimeter is 300 m . Find its area and the length of perpendicular drawn on the biggest side .

x=300/15

x=20m

3x= 60m

5x=100 m

7x=140m

semi preimeter=150m

using herons

√150(150-60)(150-100)(150-140)

√150(90)(50)(10)

√30*5(30*3)5*10(10)

30*10*5√3

1500√3m^2

area of a triangle = 1/2*base*height

1/2(140)(h)=1500√3m^2

h=1500√3/70

h=150√7m
