Heya!!

Since Force = k. Q1*Q2 / d^2

Since charges r equal then Q1 = Q2.

=) 16 = 9* 10^9 * Q^2 / (0.3)^2

=) 16 * 0.3*0.3 / 9*10^9 = Q^2

=) 16 * 10^-11 = Q^2

=) 1.26 * 10^-5 C = Q

Charge is either in + or -.

When dielectric constant is 8, then F = 16/8 = 2 N.

Hope it helps uh!!

 \huge{hey}

 \huge { \mathfrak{here \: is \: answer}}

 \sf{in \: coulombs \: law}

 \sf{9 \times {10}^{9} \frac{ q \tiny{1} \times \ q \tiny{2}}{ {d}^{2} } }

F=16N,

d=0.3m,

q1=q2=q

 \sf{16 = 9 \times {10}^{9} \frac{ {q}^{2} }{0.3 \times 0.3}}

 \sf{ {q}^{2} = \frac{16 \times 0.3 \times 0.3}{9} \times {10}^{ - 9} }

 \bf{ {q}^{2} = 16 \times {10}^{ - 11}}

 \bf{ {q}^{2} = 160 \times {10}^{ - 12}}

 \bf{q = \frac{ + }{ } 1.26 \times {10}^{ - 5} c}

when air is replaced with a substance of dielectric constant k the force between the charges will be,

 \bf{ \frac{16}{8} }

 \huge{ = 2 \: newton}
