here's the answer ! ....

→ when resistors are connected in series,,

  • same current passes through resistors.
  • Equivalent resistance is equal to the sum of the resistances of all the resistors
  • Req = R₁ + R₂ + R₃ + ............+ Rn
  • Equivalent resistance is always greater than the individual resistances

→ when resistors are connected in parallel ,,

  • same potential difference will be maintained in the circuit
  • reciprocal of equivalent resistance is equal to the sum of the reciprocals of individual resistance
  • 1/Req = 1/R₁ + 1/R₂ + 1/R₃ + .............. + 1/Rn
