Answer:

3.68g/cc

Explanation:

First u have to know the formula:

Solution: Given;

m1 = 540 grams

m2=380 grams

p1=2.7g/cc

p2=7.6g/cc

V = mass / density

Now, v1= 540/2.7

v1=540× 10/27

v1=200 cc

Now,

v2=380/7.6

v2=380×10/76

v2=50 cc

We have got v1 and v2. so now apply the formula and substitute the values.

density =total mass / total volume

= 540 g + 380 g / 200 cc + 50 cc

=920 g / 250 cc

= 3.68 g/ cc

~ So, density of alloy formed at room temperature is 3.68 g/cc.
