Two sound waves emitted by one sound source is approaching at a point through two path. When path difference
is 36 cm or 60 cm, then points are silence point if speed of sound in air 330 m/sec the find the frequency of
sound source.​

Hey Mate!!

First ; 36cm = 0.36 m and 60 cm = 0.6 m

For destructive interference : Path difference

Δx = (n+1/2) × λ

Also, wavelength of wave λ= V/ ν

∴ We get ν =

2n  + 1 \div 2Δx

For least possible frequency, n=0 and Δx = 60 cm = 0.6m

Therefore ,

ν(min) = 1×330 / 2×0.6

ν(min) = 550 Hz..
