force of gravitation between two bodied is given by- G(m1) (m2)/r^2
here H is the gravitational constant , m1&m2 are masses of bodies and r is the distance between them.
it is given that force between them is equal to weight of .75mg which. that is F= .75× g therefore Force= .75× 10 [g= acceleration due to gravity]
r^2 = 30×10^-2 × 30×10^-2 [ 1cm= 10^-2 m]
= .09
putting all values in formula;
.75× 10= G (100) (100) /.09
G= 6.85 × 10^-5

mdkalim7: answer is written in book as 6.62×10^-11 N m^2 kg^-2
