Two spheres of mass 5 kg and 10kg are situated on a
stick of distance 10m. Where does centre of mass of system lies​

Centre of mass of the system from 5 kg mass is calculated by -

Centre of mass = m2.d / (m1+m2)

Centre of mass = 10×10 / (10+5)

Centre of mass = 100 / 15

Centre of mass = 6.67 cm

Hence, centre of mass of system is 6.67 cm from smaller mass of 5 kg.
