Given that the angles are the consecutive multiples of 4, so assume that the angles are 4x and 4( x + 1 ). Given in the question that the angles are supplementary and we know that the sum of two supplementary angles is 180°.

Sum of supplementary angles = 180°

In the question, 4x and 4( x + 1 )are supplementary angles. There sum will be equal to 180°

4x° + 4( x + 1 )° = 180°

4x +4( x ) + 4( 1 ) = 180

4x + 4x + 4 =180

8x + 4 = 180

8x = 180 - 4

8x = 176

2 × 4x  = 176

4x = 176 / 2

4x = 88

Therefore, required angles are 4x = 88 and 4( x + 1 )

                                                                         = 4x + 4

                                                                         = 88 + 4

                                                                         = 92

Required angles : 88 and 92
