Given :

Two state of energy gap , E_2-E_1=6.9\times 10^{-21}\ J .

Also , relative probability , P=e^2 .

To Find :

The temperature of the complete system .

Solution :

We know , relative probability is given by :

P=e^{(\dfrac{E_2-E_1}{kT})}\\\\e^2=e^{(\dfrac{E_2-E_1}{kT})}

Comparing , power of e .

We get :

\dfrac{E_2-E_1}{kT}=2

Here , k is Boltzmann's constant , k=1.38\times 10^{-23}\ m^2\ kg\ s^{-2}\ K^{-1}

Putting all value in above equation :

We get :

T = 250 K .
