sum of supplementary angles = 180 degrees
1st angle = x
2nd angle = x+48
x + x + 48 = 180 degrees
2x + 48. = 180 degrees
2x. = 180 - 48
2x. = 132
x = 132 / 2
x. . = 66

therefore the first angle = 66 degrees
the second angle = 66 + 48
= 114 degrees

Greetings..!

We know, two supplementary angles sum up to make 180°.

So, let one of the angles be x°.

Then , the other one is (x - 48)°.

As , their sum is 180°, we can form the equation ,

⇒ x + x - 48 = 180

⇒2x = 180 + 48  ⇒x = 228/2 = 114

Hence, we have x's value 114°.

So, the other angle is x - 48 = 114 - 48 = 66°

Answer : hence, angles are 114° and 66°.
