by given condition

x- y =44..................equation 2

adding equation 1 and 2

 x + y = 180

+  x - y = 44

∴2x = 224

∴x = 112°

∴ y = 180 - x = 180 - 112 = 68°

∴ y = 68°

∴ the angles are 112° and 68°
