Let the angles be x and x + 34

sum of two supplementary angles = 180

x + x + 34 =180

2x = 180 - 34

2x = 146

x = 146/2

× = 73

one angle is 73

another angle = 73+34=107

Let the small angle be x°

Since the two angles differ by 34°

,the bigger angle = x + 34°

Since the sum of the supplementary angles is 180°

We have ,

x + (x + 34) = 180° \\ 2x + 34 = 180° \\ 2x = 180 - 34 = 146° \\ x =  \frac{146°}{2}  = 73°. \\ therefore \: smaller \: angle = x = 73° \\ bigger \: angle \:  = x + 34 = 73 + 34 = 107°
