Let one of the unknown angles be x.

Sum of supplementary angles is 180 degrees.

Given,

x + ( x + 34) = 180

2x + 34 = 180

2x = 180 - 34

= 146

x = 146 ÷ 2

= 73

Therefore the angles are :

x = 73 degrees

x + 34 = 73 + 34 = 107 degrees

Answer:

1st angle is 107 and the 2nd angle is 73.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be 1st angle.

So, 2nd angle will be 180-x.

And we know that if we subtract them, the difference is 34.

So,

x-(180-x)=34

x-180+x=34

2x=34+180

x=214/2

x=107, 1st angle.

2nd angle=180-107

                =73

So, 1st angle is 107 and the 2nd angle is 73.
