Let one of the angles be x
then other angle will be 180 - x as the angles are supplementary
A/Q,
x -( 180 - x)= 36
x - 180 + x = 36
2x = 36 + 180
2x = 216
x = 108°
Other angle = 180 - 108 = 72°
∴ the angles are 72° , 108°

Let the angle 1 be x° and angle 2 be (x+36)°.
Supplementary angle = 180°.
Solution:-
Angle 1 + angle 2 = supplementary angle
x° + (x+36)° = 180°
x° + x° = 180°-36°
2°x = 144°
x = 144°/2°
x = 72°
Therefore, angle 1 = x° = 72°
& angle 2 = (x+36)° = (72+36)° = 108° Ans.
Ans.) The angles are 72° and 108°.
Supplementary angle = 180°.
