let the two angle be angle 1and angle 2
Angle 1=x , angle 2=x+40°
sum of supplementary angle = 180°
therefore ,
Angle 1+ angle 2=180°
x + x+40°=180°
2x+40°=180°
2x=180°- 40°
2x=140°
x=70°
Angle 1=x=70°
Angle 2=x+40°=110°
Angle 1=x , angle 2=x+40°
sum of supplementary angle = 180°
therefore ,
Angle 1+ angle 2=180°
x + x+40°=180°
2x+40°=180°
2x=180°- 40°
2x=140°
x=70°
Angle 1=x=70°
Angle 2=x+40°=110°
