Let the two supplementary angles be x and y

x + y = 180 …

x = y+50 …

y+50+ y = 180, or

2y = 180–50 = 130, or

y = 65 and x = 115

So one angle is 65 and the other, its supplementary - 115.

let the smaller angle be x

the greater angle =(180-x)

A. T. Q

(180-x) -x50

180-x-x=50

180-2x=50

180-50=2x

130=2x

x=130/2=65

so the require angles are =x=65

(180-x) =115
