Sum of supplementary angles = 180

Let the angles be x and y

x + y = 180

x = 180 - y..........(1)

Also, x - y = 50.........(2)

Substituting (1) in (2),

180 - y - y = 50

- 2y = 50 - 180

2y = 130

y = 130/2 = 65

x = 180 - y = 180 - 65 = 115

Larger angle = x = 115
