let time taken by Tap A be x hrs.
So,time taken by B=(x+3) hrs
Now
1/x+1/(x+3)=1/5
x+3+x/(x(x+3)=1/5
(2x+3)/x^2+3x=1/5
(2x+3)×5=1×(x^2+3x)
10x+15=x^2+3x
x^2+3x-10x-15=0
x^2-7x-15=0
solve it
