so they worked for 12 days means 12/15 they completed

remaining work is 3/15

A only working afterwards

so he took 8 days to will 1/5 th

so that means A will take 40days to complete

so how many days B will do is = 1/15-1/40=5/120=1/24

so B will complete in 24 days
