Two taps A and B can together fill the swimming pool in 15 days. Taps A and B are kept open for 12 days and then tap B is closed. It takes another 8 days for the pool to be filled . How many days does each tap require to fill the pool.​

which A has to done all alone…which he do in 8 days .

We can easily find efficency of A = 3/8

efficiency of b = 1–3/8 = 5/8

now , A do whole work in total work/efficiency

i.e. 15/3/8 = 40 days

B do whole work in 15/5/8 = 24 days
