A + B do work in 15 days
A + B works together for 12 days means 15–12 = 3 days or 3 unit works remaining..
which A has to done all alone…which he do in 8 days
We can easily find efficency of A = 3/8
efficiency of b = 1–3/8 = 5/8
now , A do whole work in total work/efficiency
ie 15/3/8 = 40 days
B do whole work in 15/5/8 = 24 days
Hope it helps You...
