Two taps running together can fill a bath in 4 minutes, which is filled by one of the taps in 7 minutes. How long would it take to fill the bath if the other pipe is running by itself?

Step-by-step explanation:

PLS MARK AS BRAINLIEST

let first pipe be A and second pipe be B

A one min work is 1/7

A and B one min work is 1/4

B work in 1min is 1/x(say)

hence

1/7 + 1/x = 1/4

x=28/3

therefore for B it takes 28/3mins or 9.3 min to fill completely
