Hey their,
Here is ur sol.
Hope
.
.
.
Time taken by faster tap x hours
Time taken by slower tap(x+3)
.
Portion of tank filled by faster tap. 1/x
" " " " " slower" . 1/x+3
. " " " " both tap . 13/4
A.t.q
1/x+1/x+3=13/40

80x+120=13x²+39x

13x²-41x-120=0

By factorization
X=5

Therefore,
Time taken by faster pipe 5 hours
By slower 5+3=8hours......

Thnx a lot
Bye
