Answer:

let the number is x

so,

2x/3-1x/5=28

=> (5.2x-3.1x)=28.15

=> 10x-3x=28.15

=> 7x=28.15

=> x=28.15/7

=> x=4.15

=> x=60

so the number is 60

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number be x

\frac{2x}{3} - \frac{1x}{5}  = 28

Lcm = 5×3 = 15

\frac{10x-3x}{15} = 28

\frac{7x}{15} = \frac{28}{1}

cross multiply both the sides:

7x = 28 × 15

7x = 420

 x = 420/7

 x = 60
