Now Two third of a number =

Again four-fifth of a number =

$\frac{4}{5} x$

68 less than four-fifth of a number =

$\frac{4}{5} x - 68$

So , the equation is

$\frac{2}{3} x \: = \frac{4}{5} x - 68$

$\frac{4}{5} x - \frac{2}{3} x = 68$

$\frac{2}{15} x = 68$

$x \: = \frac{68 \times 15}{2}$

$x = \frac{1020}{2}$

$x = 510$
