Step-by-step explanation:

second number = 50 × 12

------------------- = 6

100

2

---- × first number = 6 ^3

3

first number = 6^3 × 3

----------------= 324

2

required sum = 324 + 6= 330

Given:

Let the first number be x and the second number be y

\frac{2}{3}x=y\fra{3}{}....eq.1

y=\frac{12}{100} * 50....eq.2

To find the sum of the first and second number

Solution:

From eq.2

y=\frac{600}{100}

y=6

Putting the value of y in eq.1, we get

\frac{2}{3} x} \, =y{3}

\frac{2}{3} {x} =6^{3}

\frac{2}{3}  {x} =216

2{x} =648

{x} =324

Then,

{x} + {y} =324+6

{x} + {y} =330

Hence,  the sum of the first and second numbers is 330.
