Hope this helps you preeti..........

Step-by-step explanation:

The distance between A and B is =500km

The speed of the train(1)=70km/h

The speed of the train(2)=110km/h

It starts its journey at 8 o'clock and train(2)stars its journey at 10 o'clock..

So already train(1)traveled for 2 hours before the starting of train(2)

=(70*2)=140km

So at 10 o'clock the distance between them was=(500-140)km=360km

Now,let at time t after 10 o'clock they will meet with each other

Therefore, distance travelled train(1) in time t hours=(70*t) km

And

distance travelled train(2) in time t hours=(110*t) km

Now,

70t+110t=360

t=360/180

t=2 hrs

Therefore both trains will meet with each other after 2hrs from the starting of train(2)....

I.e.,they will meet at (10+2)=12 o'clock.......
