: Speed ratio = 1/ time ratio

T1/T2 =12/18 = 2/3

S1/S2 =3/2

So D1 = 3 × 12 =36

And D2= 2× 18 =36

Time = total distance /relative speed

T= 36+36/2+3

T= 72/5

T = 14.40 sec
