Answer:

Time the trains will collide is 1 hour

Explanation:

Lets assume the train are Train A and Train B

Speed of train A = 30 km/hr

Speed of train B = 60 km/hr

Assuming train A to be in rest

Since the trains are moving in opposite direction

Therefore, Speed of train B with respect to train A = 60 + 30 = 90 km/hr

At time t=0 , the distance between the trains = 90 km

If we assume train A to be in rest then the speed of train B with respect to train A is 90 km/hr and train B has to cover the distance of 90 km with this speed

Thus the time taken in collission = Distance/Speed

                                                      = 90/90

                                                     = 1 h

Therefore, the time they collide is 1 hour

Answer:

1 hour

Explanation:

speed = distance/ time

thus, time = distance / speed

= 60 - (-30)/90

= 90/90

= 1 hr
