\huge{\bold{\underline{\underline{....Answer....}}}}

\huge{\bold{\underline{Given:-}}}

Velocity of train "A" moving east is 20 m/s.

Velocity of train "B" moving west is 30 m/s.

\huge{\bold{\underline{Explanation:-}}}

As they are moving in east and west direction which is directly opposite to each other.

\large{v_{ba} = v_{b} - v{a}}

As compared to velocity of train A is negative as it moves in opposite direction.

\large{v_{ba} = v_{b} - (-v{a})}

\large{v_{ba} = 30 + 20}

\large{v_{ba} = 50 m/s}

\huge{\boxed{\boxed{ v_{ba} = 50 m/s}}}

So, the relative velocity is 50 m/s.
