Two trains are running at a speed of 50 km and 30 km per hour respectively in the same direction.the train running at 50 km/hr, crosses a man in other train in 18 seconds.find the length of the faster train.

Solution:-
Relative speed is =
 =  > 50 - 30 \\  =  > 20km \: p \: h
By converting it in m/s we get:-
 =  > 20 \times  \frac{5}{18}  \\  =  >  \frac{50}{9} m \: per \: sec
Now,
Distance=Speed ×Time
 =  >  \frac{50}{9}  \times 18 \\  =  > 100m

Hence,
Length of train is 100m
