Two trains are travelling in opposite directions with speeds 25 m / sec and 30 m / sec respectively. If the length of one train is 300 m and that of the other train is 250 m, then find the time taken by the trains to cross each other.

total distance = 300+250=550m

speed = 25+30=55m/s(since trains are traveling opposite direction )

time=distance / speed

time = 550/55

time=10 sec
