First Train:

Speed = 36 lm/h

Time = 3 hours

Distance = 36 x 3  = 108 km

Second Train:

Speed = 54 km/h

Time = 3 hours

Distance = 54 x 3 = 162 km

Find the total distance:

Total distance = 108 + 162 = 270 km

Answer: Both the trains covered a total of 270 km

Speed of first Train = 36 km/h

Time taken by first Train = 3 hours

Distance travel by first Train = 36 x 3 = 108 km

Speed of second train = 54 km/h

Time of second train = 3 hours

Distance of second train = 54 x 3 = 162 km

Total distance covered by both trains = 108 + 162 = 270 km

Therefore, answer both the trains covered a total of 270 km.
