Two trains, each 50 m long are travelling in opposite
directions with velocities 10 m/s and 15 m/s. The
time of crossing is
(b) 4 s
(d) 4735
(a) 2 s
(c) 2/35​

Total distance to be covered for crossing each other =

50+50 = 100m

Net velocity = 10+15 = 25m/s {Both are in different directions}

Time = Distance/Speed

= 100/25

= 4m/s

It will take 4s for trains to cross each other.
